A STUDENT was left shocked when she checked her tourist snaps of the London skyline - and spotted what looks like a flying saucer.
University Of Exeter academic Karolina-Slavka Mueller was in London for the weekend, when she took some shots with her camera phone of the sights.
But when she looked back at the January 19 night time pictures of Tower Bridge and the London Eye, she was shocked to see an apparent UFO.
And experts claim it is the real thing.
Karolina said in an email: “What’s very strange about this is the fact that we didn’t actually see this object in the sky while I was taking the photos.
“I only discovered it once I loaded the photos onto my computer as I didn’t even look at the photos until then.”
The images - taken around 3.50am - were taken eight minutes apart as Karolina and two pals drove through Central London.
The apparent UFO is at an angle and appears to emit a mysterious blue light.

OK. Someone is gonna O.D. on this one after trying to snorting it instead of drinking it.
There’s a new energy drink called Blow that comes packed like cocaine. It’s a white powder laced with legal drugs like caffeine and taurine but it will give you a rush. If the name didn’t tip you off how about a fake credit card and mirror to “cut” the product. Classy!
No word yet on celebrity endorsements for Blow yet but we bet you’ll see Lindsay Lohan endorse Blow real soon. She might even sign on to promote the drink, too. Ha!
A Polish security researcher who used the alias “porkythepig” spelled out a pair of vulnerabilities in an ActiveX control used by HP’s Software Update, the patch management program bundled with virtually every HP- and Compaq-branded laptop.
According to porkythepig’s post, the Software Update bugs let an attacker corrupt Windows’ kernel files, making the laptop unbootable, or with a little more effort, allow hacks that would result in a PC hijack or malware infection. In either case, a drive-by attack could be conducted by feeding users an e-mail message with a link to a malicious Web site.
“Every HP notebook machine containing the HP Software Updates application is vulnerable,” claimed porkythepig. “It is possible that the vulnerable machine model list disclosed by the vendor as a confirmation to the previous issue concerning HP laptops, [the] HP Info Center case, will be similar in this case.”
Last week, porkythepig disclosed multiple flaws in other software included with HP’s portables. When the company patched the vulnerabilities a day later, it listed 83 affected laptops.
