- Ну?.. – спросил дракон.
В ответ рыцарь сделал круглые глаза. Выдержал драматическую паузу и переделал их в очень круглые.
- Красноречиво. – признал ящер. – И лаконично. Молодец.

Рыцарь зарделся от похвалы, но ненадолго. Потом что напарник задумчиво почесал урчащее брюхо полуметровым когтем и добавил:
- А сказать-то что хотел?
- Все сволочи! – выпалил партнёр и обиженно лязгнул забралом.
- Само собой. – кивнул дракон. - Homo homini lupus est.
Рыцарь вопросительно приподнял бровь – ящер понял, что несколько переоценил познания напарника в латыни. Он уже хотел-было пуститься в привычные пояснения, но рыцарь его опередил:
- Не знаю, что это за лупус такой, но сволочь-трактирщик больше нас кормить не желает. Говорит, что ждёт, когда цены на провизию подскочат. И добро бы только мы одни голодали – так вся ж вся округа из-за него, упыря, страдает.
- И какими словами он это аргументирует?
- Тебе дословно?
- Да.
- «Идите к чёрту!»
- Гм? Тяжёлый случай. – сделал вывод дракон.
- Дадим в рыло и сожжём трактир? – в голосе рыцаря прорезался оптимизм.
- Ни в коем случае, партнёр. – возмутился ящер. – Это разовая акция, не имеющая ничего общего с постоянной сытой перспективой. Запомни – нельзя резать курицу, несущую золотые яйца.
- У трактирщика – золотые яйца?!..
- Нет. То есть да. То есть… Короче, пошли к трактирщику.

The Pirate Bay Trial: The Official Verdict - Guilty

Just minutes ago the verdict in the case of The Pirate Bay Four was announced. All four defendants were accused of ‘assisting in making copyright content available’. Peter Sunde: Guilty. Fredrik Neij: Guilty. Gottfrid Svartholm: Guilty. Carl Lundström: Guilty. The four receive 1 year in jail each and fines totaling $3,620,000.

The court said that the four defendants worked as a team, were aware that copyrighted material was being shared using The Pirate Bay and that they made it easy and assisted the infringements. It categorized the infringements as ’severe’. The judge said that the users of The Pirate Bay committed the first offense by sharing files and the four assisted this.

The judge also stated that the usage of BitTorrent at The Pirate Bay is illegal. Rest assured, other torrent sites hosted in Sweden will be keeping a close eye on developments.

The defense put it to the judge that he had folded under intense political pressure. The judge denied this stating that the court made its decision based on the case presented to them.

At one point the judge was asked if he was concerned for his personal safety after handing down this decision. The judge said he hadn’t received any harassment and was quite surprised at the question.
