On June 18, 2008, four days before his death, the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC announced that Carlin would be the 2008 honoree of the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, which was awarded on November 10, 2008. Carlin thus became the award’s first posthumous recipient, a decision the Kennedy Center made after consulting with both Carlin’s family and PBS (which aired the ceremony).

Glenn O’Brien took an interview with Milla and talked about Milla’s part in the Resident Evil series, about models that fall on the runway, the impact her mother had on her life as a teenager and her new movie.

At the fashion shows last fall I saw so many girls fall on the runway. I guess maybe they never wear high heels in real life, but, you know, I think if they had more athletic training, they would probably just glide in those six-inch platforms.

Girls who are dancers tend to be much better models than girls who just got picked off the street. Dance is a discipline, just like martial arts. No matter what you do, you have this sort of confidence that no one can take away from you—every time you step somewhere, you’re sure of where you’re going.

The aim of this campaign from JWT Dubai was to tell women the power they have over men when they have some cleavage on display, whether or not they have big boobs.The campaign was written from a female perspective so that women could appreciate the humour and observations in the copy.
