    Anyone who agrees that piracy is not theft should logically conclude that counterfeiting of currency doesn’t constitute theft.

    Absolutely.. That is why it is classified as “counterfeiting” and NOT theft. in fact it does not come under the larceny laws at all but instead under both trespass and ‘passing off’ (fraud against the crown) instead.

    Calling Piracy theft by any organisation, govt, or other legal authority is false and misleading practice in itself.
